Notes and prayer requests- August 30, 2015

Prayer requests:

Thurlings- to prepare their hearts and minds for Janet's move to Minnesota.

Karpes- to see God's plan and to be content with staying in their house.

Hanns- confidence in God's plan with Stephen looking for a new job.  Also for alleviated anxiety and depression for Kate every month. 

Fall Study Ideas

Hanns- We'd be open for another Wiersbe study.  We are also interested in another topical study and will look into some.  Are there any topics on anyone's hearts?

Bible Study Notes: Week Ending 3/22/15

Challenge (for the upcoming week):

Be like David, returning triumphantly to Jerusalem victorious over Absalom's rebellion, who chose to pardon his enemies rather than exact vengeance upon them.  Seek out somone who has trangressed against you (either via ignorance or intentional malice) and let them know you forgive them and love them.

Prayer Requests:

• Stephen - find balance of time for work, service/giving, and recreation
• Kate - for in-laws Rachel & Matthew Bichler (and their baby) as mild complications with the pregnancy have arisen
• Trevor - courage to talk to family (brother mother) about delicate and sensitive issues
• Steph - praise for Griff's progress and prayers for Jason & Elizabeth's upcoming arrival of their baby
